The Faith Forming Relationship team is one of our five Vision Ministry teams. Their focus is "Putting Jesus at the center of faith and faith at the center of relationships".
They accomlish this task by overseeing two major components of spiritual relationships..
- Open Groups - Where anyone can join at anytime. (You'll find several open groups listed under the "Relationships" navigation tab above.) Visitors are welcome to join.
- Small Groups - These are private groups that allow more intimate relationships to develop. We don't provide a list of the numerous small groups on the website since it wouldn't be inclusive to everyone, but the team holds quarterly sign-ups if you are interested in joining a small group. At that team new groups form and the established groups consider taking on a new member or two.
Open groups and small groups are healthy ways to fill your spiritual gas tank. (It is difficult to feed others if we are hungry.)
Another major role of Faith Forming Relationships is to organize and direct our Children's Ministry...
- Nursery - held during both worship services on Sundays for 0-4 years old
- Children's Church - for all school-aged children, 5-12 yrs old; held during the 9:00 worship service
- Sunday School - held during the 10:30 for all ages
- Vacation Bible School - held during a week in the summer
