 Missions are what we do to make a positive difference in the lives of others in the name of Jesus Christ. This is a “Go and Help” ministry which doesn’t discriminate between believers or non-believers. Risk-Taking refers to moving out of our comfort zone. Where we engage in ministries we would never have done if not for God challenging us and our listening. Risk-taking steps into great uncertainty, discomfort, resistance, or sacrifice. It pushes us beyond the circle of relationships that routinely define our church commitments. Risk-Taking Missions change the lives of the people who are served as well as the lives of those who serve. Miracles happen when we step outside of our comfort zone, outside of our box. The role of this team is to push the congregation into service in ways that have lasting impact on anyone it may touch.
