Ministries - Vision Teams

Passionate Worship is one of five "Vision Components" at Emmanuel.  The goal of our Worship Team is to allow everyone to encounter God in Jesus Christ. God inspired lives are essential to a spirit led community - which is a high expectation of our visitors (and our members).

God Inspired Lives...
Below we list several ways that God can use a Passionate Worship to inspire all of us...
  • lives are changed
  • hope is renewed
  • healing happens
  • compassion for others is developed
  • decisions are shaped
  • change is provoked
  • people bond together in purpose
That's what happens when we get it right.  That's what our Worship Team strives to make happen each week.

Team Members and Roles...
Our worship team is divided into several parts...
  • Pastor Driven
  • Worship Leaders - provide announcements and readings and flow
  • Acolyte Team - Training and scheduling the children to light the candle symbolizing Christs' presence
  • Music Team - Music director, song leaders, choir, praise band, special music
  • Light and Sound Team - Setting mood, tone of worship
  • Visual Team - Words, images, video's that appear on the wide screen that reinforce the experience
  • Worship Bulletin - Provide important information focused on the worship experience (The weekly newsletter focuses on the rest.)
Each week the team works to make worship a moving experience for everyone.  Passionate Worship at Emmanuel is truly a team effort.

Making the Connection...
A Passionate Worship connects people to God with the knowledge that God desires to speak to them and connect to them. 

Joining the Team...
If you have talents or skills that  God is calling you to share on the Worship Team, you are invited to speak with Pastor Joe or any of the members listed to the left of the page.  You do not need to be a member to join any of our ministry teams.
