Hospitality - Visitors Guide
Written by April Strickler

Church_WindowBefore you visit...

We welcome you to browse around our website.  You might find it informative on many different levels...

  • Several of our members write Blogs (we call them Member Journals) on this website.
  • Our Pastor is a Blogging Machine (Pastors Journal).
  • We provide you with Podcasts so you can listen to a sermon or two before you visit.
  • We have five newsletters.  One from the pastor, one from the Website Team (current news), "Wednesday Word" a weekly devotional from one of our members, the email version of our Sunday newsletter, and our Women's Group rounds out the week.   You are welcome to subscribe to one or all of them.  And you can unsubscribe without us even knowing - so give it a try.
  • We encourage our members to keep their profiles updated to help you learn things about us (and what we contribute to the purpose). We do this to make the first visit more comfortable for you.
  • We have a visitors guide to answer some basic questions about a visit.
We take pride in providing our guests with current news and relevant information.  We hope this information makes you comfortable enough to stop in on a Sunday and join us as we praise God together. Wear what you are comfortable wearing.

Our Kids Have Fun

We have three (age appropriate) Sunday School Classes at 10:30am.  At 9:30am our pastor holds a children's sermon and then dismissed the kids upstairs for Children's Church.  We have two Youth Groups.  A Nursery.  A Pre-School / Toddler Room.  Emmanuel understands the importance of everyone in your family growing in faith.

Two Worship Services

Join us at 9am or at 10:30am for Worship.  Bring the kids and let them decide what they want to do - they have options.  Both services are a blend of Traditional and Contemporary.  Our pastor is always on the mark - listen to a podcast - we hear great sermons every week.  We are welcoming, but not overbearing.  Coffee is always available.  We will never single out our visitors.

If you have a good visit and you feel comfortable with Emmanuel, you are welcome to register here, on our website  By registering, you'll have access to the same information our church family has access to - including all of our e-mail, newsletters, prayer lists, and other information.  This website is designed for the visitor first and the member second.  Register and find out why we say that.
