Nine men of Emmanuel will be attending a one day retreat on Saturday, Aug 7th. We will leave church at 6am and stop for a quick breakfast on our way to Tipp City, Ohio.  Final destination is Ginghamsburg UMC.  The retreat will start at 8am and end around 4pm Saturday - lunch will be provided. 

About the Retreat


"A Man Fully Alive" is a retreat that is foundational, practical, and leans more toward a workshop on becoming a man "fully alive" rather than just preaching about it.

In this experience, four challenges lead men in one simple direction... If God truly has a vision for us to "life life to the full' - what are some of the strategies we could use?  Here are four of them...

A MAN FULLY ALIVE IS:
  • A man FULLY AWARE that he was born into a war he did not choose.
  • A man FULLY ENGAGED to accept his role in this war for his life, his family, his future.
  • A man FULLY SURRENDERED to himself and to the Holy Spirit’s guidance.
  • A man FULLY EQUIPPED to lead and to follow.
I have come that you might have life and have it to the full. John 10:10

Prayers Needed

It's been a while since the men of our church have been invited to come together and share time and a common journey.  Please pray for all the men.  Pray they are moved to accept this invitation.  Pray that God reveals His will to them as they accept this calling.  Pray for a safe trip and pray they learn to become fully alive in their lives and in Christ.
