Free food tastes the best!  October 3rd is going to be a fun day!  After the second service, at 11:45, there will be a carry-in lunch.  Bring your own table service and a covered dish.  Included in this lunch will be presentations from the many areas of the church that help make Emmanuel fulfill its Call from God.  It will be informative for the guest as well as the regular attender.  We hope to see you there.  You won't want to miss it.
Leading stories
The first practice for Children's Choir will be held Sunday, September 12th between worship services.  We welcome any child in Kindergarten thru 6th Grade who would like to participate.  Our goal is to perform once a month during worship.

Women's Lunch & Meeting - Sept 19 - Men Invited!

The first combined luncheon of the United Methodist Women and the Men of Emmanuel will be held on Sunday September 19th directly after the second service.  The women will provide the lunch (always wonderful) and the babysitting (free).  Please come to be a part of a wonder

Well the DOCs have taken a break during the Month of August but during that time we have added three new members! Below is the schedule for the DOCs from September to November. We welcome anyone who is in grades 4th through 6th. Our meetings are every Sunday Morning at 10:30
Sunday Evening Bible Study - Starts Sep 12

Starting Sunday, September 12th, Bible Study will get under way again!  The study will run every Sunday evening from 7:00 - 8:00pm. 

Don't be afraid to give this a try.  We promise that it won't be intimidating at all. We will begin the journey in the book of Acts as we explore the beginnings of the church.   You don't have to say a word if you don't want to (we have plenty of talkers in the gro

As I'm sure you've noticed, the youth are still at it, learning, serving, and having great fellowship all the while. They have been quite busy, and do not appear to be slowing down any time soon. During the last two months, we have taken a great nature hike, had a wonderful
D.O.C. Youth - An Open Invitation

What are the D.O.C.s?

The Disciples of Christ are Emmanuel's jr. youth group. We formed in January of 2010 and this group has taken off. These members are in grades 4-6 and meet the second and fourth Sunday of the month from 6 pm to 7 pm.

Activities include one fun night a month and then one service night. Our fun activities have included game night, a trip to the Cincinnati Museum Center, a trip to Woodland Mound Park, our service projects have been and will be VBS decorations, gifts for the church's shut-in

It's our purpose to lead the youth into a relationship with Jesus Christ.   We plan to accomplish this by involving them in:
